Live Bottom

The SHW Live Bottom is the ideal discharge unit for nearly all bulk materials that are difficult to handle and which are stored in rectangular silos. The material discharge ladders are hydraulically driven in an offset mode.

Aliceville/AL, USA

This plant supplies four production lines for wood pellets with wood chips, bark and wet as well as dry flakes. Additionally, the pellets subsequently get stored in a large capacity store and, following the storage, delivered to the loading process.


Sebes, Romania

After many already-successfully completed projects in other sites with a customer, SHW-SHS received the order of a pull floor system in a large chipboard factory for the site in Romania.


Woerth, Germany

The external fuel system consists of several SHW live bottoms and a screw bottom, which feed different secondary fuels from the paper production consisting of paper, deinking and bio sludge together with plastic rejects, to the internal fuel system of a CFB.


Rion des Landes, France

The construction consists of several live bottom systems, disc screens and a rotor discharge system and serves as a reception and processing unit for foreign and own wood chips and saw dust. It supplies the silos for wet flakes that has been delivered by SHW in 2008.
