Cooling Screw
The cooling screw may optionally be liquid- or air-cooled. The cooling medium gets injected into the screw shaft and the screw flight by one- or two-way sealing. Additionally the screw trough may be cooled. This enables a thermal gradient of above 900 K to be achieved in the shortest distance.
Applications
- Feeding screws for the fuel feed into the boiler
Customer advantages
- high availability due to its very robust construction
- high wear protection as a result of using wear and temperature-resistant materials
- high cooling capacity
- easy to install and maintain
