Chain Conveyor

The Chain Conveyor is used to connect individual plant components in order to get one overall process engineering system and ensures an operationally reliable and cost-effective transport of bulk materials. High operational reliability is achieved by using premium conveying chains, components and materials.

Applications

  • conveyor for almost every bulk material

Customer advantages

  • high availability due to its very robust construction
  • individual solutions enabled by the modular construction
  • easy to install and maintain
  • horizontal, vertical and combined transport
  • redundant design as twin conveyor
  • possible to convey in the lower and upper run
  • single- or double-strand chains
  • separate drive and tension stations

After three successfully completed projects with a customer, SHW-SHS received the order of a fuel supply system in a power plant for the site in Vietnam. Combustion of residues from paper production/wastepaper processing achieves partial substitution of fossil fuels.

MB24, Indonesia

SHW-SHS received the order for a fuel supply system in the largest Asian paper factory in Indonesia in 2013. The goal is supplying the bark arising as a waste in paper production to combustion, which saves fossil fuels (coal) in steam generation and improves the CO² balance.

MB26, Indonesia

After successful commissioning of predecessor projects in one of Asia's largest paper factories, located in Indonesia, SHW-SHS was charged with the successor project as well. New construction of a fuel supply system.
