MB24, Indonesia

SHW-SHS received the order for a fuel supply system in the largest Asian paper factory in Indonesia in 2013. The goal is supplying the bark arising as a waste in paper production to combustion, which saves fossil fuels (coal) in steam generation and improves the CO² balance.

Shanghai, China

For the truck loading of extremely heavy, weary and hard to handle REA-gypsum, SHW installed a storage silo for 1,000 m³ REA-gypsum coming from the combustion gas desulphurisation plant of the power plant of China‘s largest steel producer. This silo plant is equipped with a SHW rotor discharge system and a SHW relief system.

Jaworzno, Poland

For the separate reception of extremely heavy, weary and hard to handle REA-gypsum, SHW installed a truck loading system for tippers in Jaworzno. This round silo plant is equipped with a SHW rotor discharge system including and additional rotor cone and a SHW relief system. For security reasons this reception station was covered by a security pile grate.

This plant contains storage silos for sludge reception and truck loading systems, as well as thickened sludge including the complete feeding by a chain conveyor.

This plant contains two steaming silos, which prepare wood chips for the following process of paper manufacturing with an especially therefor developed steaming system.

The external fuel system consists of several SHW live bottoms and a screw bottom, which feed different secondary fuels from the paper production consisting of paper, deinking and bio sludge together with plastic rejects, to the internal fuel system of a CFB.

Live Oak/FL, USA

Production waste from a saw mill is stored in a bolted drive-through loading silo and – according to requirements – loaded on trucks and delivered as raw material to subsequent production facilities. Within the silo a SHW rotating screw provides for a safe and metered discharge to the incoming trucks.

For a special two-step OSB process plant for recycled wood residues SHW-SHS has developed a discharge system for “giant wood chips”. Two independent lines feed the “giant wood chips” to an OSB Stander, which produces large-scale strands for the OSB production. The scope of supply inculdes two special screw discharge systems and a bulk activation system.

McComb/MS, USA

For a bolted steel silo with a closed substructure, SHW has delivered a rotating screw to feed the stored dry southern pine shavings to the boiler system within a saw mill.

Polanco, Mexico

To ensure a continuous feeding of a MDF-board production, SHW delivers a silo discharge system for a large storage silo to Mexico. This silo plant is used as an intermediate buffer of the raw material between the wood yard and the downstream MDF board production and eliminates the production fluctuation of its own wood chips fabrication and the irregularities on delivery of foreign wood chips.  

Rion des Landes, France

The construction consists of several live bottom systems, disc screens and a rotor discharge system and serves as a reception and processing unit for foreign and own wood chips and saw dust. It supplies the silos for wet flakes that has been delivered by SHW in 2008.
